Upon arrival to Florida Hospital for a heart catherterization, Louis was told that he would need open heart surgery. Rushed into the emergency room, Luis was given surgery and he was then released within a few days.

Louis might have been sent home, but his treatment was not to end there. He was recommended to cardiac rehab and while “scared stiff” to attend, Louis went and has credited the whole experience to saving his life.
